Chief Financial Officer - Stephen Pearce
Mr Pearce joined Fortescue in March 2010 with more than 20 years experience in senior management roles in the mining, oil and gas and utilities industries. He previously held the position of Managing Director and CEO of Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited and before that was Chief Financial Officer with Alinta Limited, an A$8bn energy and utility company based in Western Australia.
Mr Pearce has a Bachelor of Business from RMIT, a Graduate Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice and is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Secretary and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mr Pearce is currently a member of the Western Australian Business and Industry Committee for the Salvation Army.

Director Operations - Paul Hallam
Mr Hallam joined Fortescue in November 2008 after more than 30 years working in the global resource industry in corporate, operational, project and management roles.
Mr Hallam has held senior executive management roles with Alcoa, North Ltd and Newcrest and has particular experience in developing and bringing into operation new mining businesses. His experience covers a full range of commodities and metals including iron ore, gold, base metals and aluminium.
Mr Hallam holds a BE (Hons) in Mining from the University of Melbourne and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Investor Relations and Company Secretary - Rod Campbell
Mr Campbell joined Fortescue in July 2004 and has over 17 years experience in banking and finance.
Prior to joining Fortescue, Mr Campbell was the WA State Manager for Rabobank where he was responsible for establishing and growing the WA business. Mr Campbell has extensive experience in financial modelling together with the structuring and negotiation of finance structures.
Mr Campbell has a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of New England and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.

Mr Meurs joined Fortescue in May 2010 to take control of the company's expansion projects.
Before joining Fortescue, Mr Meurs worked in a number of roles with Worley Parsons.

Chief Counsel - Peter Huston
Mr Huston joined Fortescue in January 2005 and has over 20 years experience in legal and commercial advisory roles.
Prior to joining Fortescue, Mr Huston spent 12 years as a Partner of the law firm now known as Deacons. Mr Huston is Chairman of Resolute Gold and holds several other Directorships. Mr Huston is a well-regarded corporate Lawyer in Perth.
Mr Huston is admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and has a Bachelor of Jurisprudence, Bachelor of Laws (with Honours), Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Laws.

Head of Strategic Studies - Eamon Hannon
Mr Hannon joined Fortescue in March 2004 and has more than 10 years experience in mineral exploration.
Mr Hannon is a Fellow of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and specialises in remote exploration having successfully operated in Tanzania, Mexico and Mongolia. His exploration expertise includes iron ore and a wide variety of other minerals and metals. Mr Hannon's experience also includes the development of mining operations overseas as well as in Australia.

External Affairs - Julian Tapp
Mr Tapp joined Fortescue in February 2004 and has extensive background in economics and finance having lectured at the London School of Economics and held positions at BP, Fore (Chief Economist - Europe) and British Aerospace (Group Economics).
More recently Mr Tapp was Director New Business Development for BAeSystems managing both financial and legal aspects of special projects in the Middle East and an Independent Consultant specialising in international venture capital projects.
Mr Tapp has a Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy and Economics) and a Master of Science (Economics and Public Policy) from University College London.

Director Health, Safety, Environment & Security - Bob Elkington
Mr Elkington joined Fortescue in July 2009 after more than 30 years in HS&E management. He held senior positions within the state public service including 25 years as Chief Inspector.
Following his retirement from the public sector in 2000, Mr Elkington formed Elkington Safety Solutions Pty Ltd to manage HS&E on a number of large projects. These projects include the $100 million upgrade of the Burswood International Resort Casino and the $1 billion Cape Lambert port expansion and upgrade.
Mr Elkington worked with Worley Parsons from April 2008 to June 2009 on management of H&S requirements for Fortescue. He holds a post graduate diploma in health and safety, is a Chartered Professional Member of the Safety Institute of Australia and a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Director Projects - Bill Ramsey
Mr Ramsey joined Fortescue in 2005 as a Project Manager and was appointed Director of Projects in 2009.
Before joining Fortescue, Mr Ramsey was the Project Manager for Rio Tinto's Hope Downs iron ore mine and he has previously held a number of positions with both Woodside and BHP Billiton in the Pilbara including a role in the BHP Engineering team on the North West Shelf project and as a construction manager for the initial Burrup site preparation.
Mr Ramsey has a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Curtin University and completed a cadetship with the Western Australian Public Works Department.

Director Corporate Services - Fiona Barclay
Ms Barclay joined Fortescue in August 2007 with more than 20 years experience working in mining services, resources and aviation industries in the corporate, commercial and managerial arenas. Her particular area of expertise is in aligning newly acquired businesses and building an appropriate commercial framework. She is currently responsible for Corporate Services.
Ms Barclay has held various commercial and senior managerial roles with Fortescue, Downer EDI Mining, Dominion Mining and Australian Airports. She was previously a director for the Airports Australia Superannuation Fund and chief financial officer and company secretary for Australian Airports.
Ms Barclay has a Master of Business Admininstration from Deakin University, a Bachelor of Business (double major in Accounting, Finance and Economics), a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance, a Graduate Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice, a Graduate Diploma in Company Directorship and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. She is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Secretary and currently is a member of the Australian Institute of Comany Directors, CPA Australia, the Chartered Secretaries Australia and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
