Fortescue Metals Group is the world's fourth largest iron ore producer. Our two mines, heavy haul railway and deepwater, multi-user port are located in the heart of the Pilbara - the world's best address for iron ore. We've produced and exported more than 140 million tonnes of iron ore in less than four years but we're not stopping there.
Fortescue is undertaking a transformative expansion program to triple our production to 155 million tonnes per annum by the end of 2013. Our plans involve expanding our port and rail operations, upgrades to our existing mines and the construction of an exciting new mine called Solomon.
