Fortescue Graduate and Vacation Student Program
The Graduate and Vacation Student programs are offered as part of Fortescue’s commitment to developing a skilled workforce for the future.
The Graduate Program is a two-year structured program for graduates with exposure to our site operations and business functions aimed at encouraging ‘whole of business’ thinking. We offer real work and a chance to make a tangible difference with guidance from our experienced technical team. We also run a mentoring program for our graduates.
Our Vacation Program is equally meaningful and each student is paired with a designated Fortescue team member to provide professional support and mentoring over the assignment period.
Placements are available for six to 12 weeks commencing in December and are predominantly offered at site (FIFO) locations.
Disciplines
Fortescue offers opportunities across a wide range of disciplines: Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Instrument Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geology, Health, Safety & Environment, Human Resources, Finance, Hydrology, Metallurgy, and Supply Chain.
Application process
Due to the overwhelming response to both our graduate and vacation student programs we are closing our application process on 5pm Wednesday 16th May.
